Article Summary

Use response columns to indicate compliance by marking table columns with output values. AutoRFP intelligently selects the appropriate column based on your organization's content and exports the chosen value to the original table format.

Estimated Time

~ 3-5 minutes per table

Prerequisites

  • Active project with uploaded document containing tables

  • Tables with horizontal compliance structure (columns representing options)

  • Understanding of compliance criteria for column selection

🙋🏽 What are Response Columns in AutoRFP?

Response columns can be used within tables to indicate compliance by marking one column with an output. They can be used in conjunction with regular responses and dropdowns. When selected, AutoRFP will take all the information associated with a requirement, including all of the column options and their criteria for selection, and pass it along to our response engine to intelligently choose the appropriate response based on your organization’s content.

Upon exporting a project, the chosen columns option’s value will be placed inside the marked table cell, similarly to regular responses.
