These instructions are broken down into parts. Each part contains easy to follow steps to complete. The parts are:
Create Custom Field In Salesforce

Link Salesforce Field to AutoRFP.ai Field
Part 1: Create a Custom Field in Salesforce
Step 1: Navigate to AutoRFP.ai Project Object Manager
In Salesforce, navigate to Setup
Click Object Manager.
Locate and open the AutoRFP.ai Project object.
Step 2: Add the Field
Go to the Fields & Relationships page.
Click New and follow the prompts to create your field.
Take note of the Field Name - you'll need it later.
Part 2: Configure the Custom Field
Step 1: Open the Custom Field Config Metadata Page
In Salesforce, go to Setup
Search for Custom Metadata Types in the Quick Find box.
Click Custom Metadata Types.
Find the AutoRFP Custom Field Config type and click Manage Records
Step 2: Add a New Configuration Record
Click New and fill in the following details
Name - A label of your choice.
AutoRFP Custom Field Config Name - Auto-populated form the Nam field.
Source Object API Name - Should default to
autorfpai__AutoRFP_Project__c. If it doesn't, enter it manually.Field API Name - The Field Name of the custom field you created in Part 1.
Is Active - Controls whether this configuration is active.
Is Create Form Visible - Determines whether the field appears on the create form.
Send To AutoRFP on Create - Enable this if you plan to link this field to a custom field in AutoRFP.
Create Form Is Required - Makes the field mandatory on the create form.
Create Form Section Label - Assign the same label to multiple fields to group them into a shared section.
Section Order - Sets the display order of this field within its section.
Click Save
Part 3: Create a Matching Custom Field in AutoRFP
If you have already created the matching field you can skip to Part 4
Step 1: Navigate to Organisation Details Page
In AutoRFP.ai, open Organization from the side menu.
Click Details from the top navigation
Step 2: Add the field
The goal is to create a field in AutoRFP that closely mirrors the one you set up in Salesforce.
Scroll to the Project Details Section
Click Add Section and give it a name
Click Add Field enter a name, and choose the appropriate type using the mapping table below.

Part 4: Link the Fields Together
Copy the Field Name of your new AutoRFP field.
Paste it into the External / Salesforce Field API Name input.
Click Save.
