Keep your content up-to-date with AutoRFP's Bulk Find and Replace feature. It's designed to simplify the process of making widespread changes to your content, ensuring that your library remains current and reliable.

Update Your Content

From the content management section of your dashboard start by applying appropriate filters to narrow down which documentation (or skip this if you are updating entire library) you would like to replace language in.

Click on the Find and Replace button in the left sidebar to open up the dropdown.

Enter Text to Update: Type in the text you want to change and the new text you wish to use.

AutoRFP will automatically preview any content containing that wording and highlight it in red, with the replacement text beside it in green. You will see the number of total results in the bottom right corner of your display.

Special Options for Precision

Match Case

Use this when the capitalization is important. For example, if you're changing "apple" to "orange," but want to leave "Apple" (with a capital A) unchanged, this option makes sure you only update exactly what you want.

Match Word

Select this to change whole words only. This way, if you're updating "will" to "shall," it won't change "will" when it’s part of another word, like "willow."

Execute Replacements:

  • All at Once: If you're happy with the highlighted selections use the "Replace x Matches" button in the Find and Replace tool to complete all changes.

  • One at a Time: Click on the replace button at the bottom right corner of a piece of content to approve one replacement at a time.

Prefer to adjust some text manually? Simply click on the text to edit it in detail. Make sure to save your changes once you're done.
