AutoRFP.ai has its own MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. This lets AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT connect directly to your AutoRFP data. Once connected, you can ask your AI assistant things like "What RFPs are due this week?" or "Search our content library for anything about data security" - and it will pull the answer straight from AutoRFP.

What Can Your AI Assistant See?

Once connected, your AI assistant has read-only access to the following AutoRFP data:

Projects	List projects, filter by status, due date, or tags
Requirements	Read questions and answers within a project, filter by status or tag
Content Library	Search approved content by keyword or semantic meaning, browse by tag or file type

The connection is read-only. Your AI assistant cannot create, edit, or delete anything in AutoRFP.ai currently.

💡Tips & Best Practices

Be specific with your requests. Mentioning a project name, tag or status (e.g. "in-progress projects tagged Security") gets sharper results than a vague question.

✋ Common Mistakes to Avoid

Not connecting your own AutoRFP credentials. Each user connects their own account. If a colleague set up the integration, you'll still need to connect your own AutoRFP credentials separately.
Not having the required ChatGPT or Claude Plan. To see the Integrations and Connectors option in your settings you need to be on a Claude Pro, Team, or Enterprise plan.
