Adding the Connection to your Claude Organization
Requires Claude Organization Admin for Initial Connection
Step 1: Open Claude Settings
Log in to Claude
Click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner
Select Settings
Step 2: Go to Connectors
In the Settings menu, click Connectors
Click Add then Add Custom Connector
Step 3: Enter the AutoRFP MCP Server URL
In the URL field, enter your AutoRFP MCP server address:
api.autorfp.ai/mcp
2. Give the integration a name (e.g. "AutoRFP.ai") and Add.
Adding the Connection to your Claude Chat
Each user inherits their permissions and can make the connection self-serve
Step 1: Go to Connectors
In the Settings menu, click Connectors
Find the AutoRFP.ai connector
Click Connect
Step 2: Authorize the Connection
Claude will prompt you to sign in to AutoRFP and grant access. Follow the on-screen steps. You'll be asked to approve three permission scopes:
tags:read lets Claude see your organisation's tag categories
projects:read lets Claude read your RFP projects and requirements
content:read lets Claude search your approved content library
Step 3: Start Using It
Open a new conversation in Claude, ensure the new Connection is Enabled and try asking:
"List my open RFP projects in AutoRFP"
"Search our content library for responses about GDPR compliance"
"What requirements are still unanswered in the Acme Corp project?"
