Step-by-Step Instructions
π§ Enabling Notifications via Email
Step 1: Access Email Notification Settings
Click your profile icon in the bottom right corner of the main toolbar. This will bring you to your User Settings.
Navigate to the Notifications tab.
Review available notification types.
Step 2: Configure Real-Time Notification Preferences
Enable email notification for each notification type. All changes are automatically saved.
Note: All notifications include direct links to the relevant task within AutoRFP.
Step 3: Enable Scheduled Notifications
If youβd like to receive fewer notifications, you can set up a notification summary in the Scheduled Notifications tab.
Select Scheduled Notifications.
Choose how often youβd like to receive the summary by selecting the days that work best for you.
Your changes are saved automatically.
π οΈ Enabling Notifications via Integrations (Admins Only)
Step 1: Access Integration Settings
Navigate to Organizational settings > Integrations.
Locate the Slack or Microsoft Teams Integration.
Step 2: Enable Integration
Click Connect or Enable for your chosen integration.
Follow authentication prompts.
Grant necessary permissions.
Verify connection status shows as "Connected."
Step 3: Configure Team Settings
Select which channels receive notifications (for Slack/Teams).
Configure integration preferences as needed.
Save settings.
Note: Once enabled, all users can select Slack or Teams as notification delivery options in their User Settings.

π Project Collaboration Notifications
Assigned as Editor:
Notified when assigned to your first requirement
Notified again only when assigned additional requirements after completing previous ones
Prevents overwhelming notifications for every individual assignment
Tagged in Comment:
Instant notification for each @mention in comments
Includes direct link to the specific requirement
Ensures awareness of discussions requiring your input
Response Review Requested:
First notification when Editor submits their first requirement for review
Second notification when Editor completes and submits all assigned requirements
Helps track Editor progress and know when full review is ready
Response Comment Added:
Notifies when any comment is added to a response you're assigned to as Editor or Reviewer
Keeps you informed of ongoing discussions
Response Changes Requested:
Notifies Editors when Reviewers request changes
Includes details about what needs modification
π Project & Customer Owner Notifications
Completes All Assigned Responses:
Notified when any Editor or Reviewer completes all their assigned tasks
Example: Editor submits all 5 assigned requirements
Helps Project Owners monitor overall progress
Project Completed:
Notified when project status changes to Completed
Confirms final project closure
π Content Management Notifications
Available for Content Managers:
Add to Library Request:
Notified when a User requests a project response be added to the library
Allows Content Managers to review before approval
Assigned as Owner:
Notified when assigned as owner of content you'll manage ongoing
Establishes accountability for content maintenance
Assigned as Editor:
Notified when assigned as Editor during content review
Example: Flagged content requiring your contribution
π Content Ownership Notifications
For content you own (assigned via the person avatar icon on content):
Content Flagged for Review:
Notified when users flag your content using the flag icon
Content removed from circulation until reviewed and approved
Ensures outdated or incorrect content is addressed
Content Receives Suggested Changes:
Notified when users without content management permissions suggest edits
Allows you to review and approve proposed improvements
Content Review Completed:
Confirmation when your suggested changes or flagged content has been reviewed
Closes the feedback loop when you've requested another Content Manager's help
Content Comment Added:
Notified when comments are added during content review
Facilitates dialogue around content edits
Team Assigned Content Flagged:
Notified when content assigned to your team is flagged
Same as "Content Flagged for Review" but applies to team-owned content
Allows any team member to address the flag

Upcoming Due Dates:
Project Owners notified 3 days before project due dates
Includes both Questions Due and Project Due dates
Provides advance warning for deadline management
