How to Use the Project Overview Dashboard

Monitor project progress and manage team workload from a centralized dashboard

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Access the Project Overview

  1. Navigate to the Project Editor for your active project.

  2. Click the Project Overview tab.

  3. The Project Overview Dashboard opens.


Step 2: Review Key Metrics

The dashboard displays the following information:

Project Information:

  • Overall Progress (number of responses approved versus total required)

  • Project due date

  • AI Draft Rate (percentage of AI-generated content)

  • Outstanding Comments count

Progress Tracking:

  • Task Breakdown by user

  • Outstanding responses by status (Draft, Pending, Approved)

  • Visual progress bars for each user, section, and file

  • Response counts by category


Step 3: Monitor Team Workload

  1. Review the user breakdown section.

  2. View each team member's:

    • Total assigned responses

    • Responses by status (Draft, Submitted, Approved)

    • Progress bar showing completion percentage

  3. Identify team members with heavy workloads or bottlenecks.


Step 4: Send Reminders (Optional)

  1. Locate users with outstanding responses.

  2. Click the Send Reminders button next to their name.

  3. System sends notifications via email, Slack, or Teams.

  4. Use for responses overdue for editing or review.


Step 5: Filter and Search

  1. Use the keyword search bar to find specific users, sections, or files.

  2. Apply filters to narrow down the view.

  3. Review filtered metrics.


Step 6: Navigate to Specific Responses

  1. Hover over any metric (user name, section, file, response category, compliance status, or count).

  2. Click the metric.

  3. System redirects to the Project Editor with a filtered view applied.

  4. View only the responses matching your selection (e.g., Tom's Submitted responses).

  5. Click Clear in the Project Editor to reset filters and return to full view.

Example: Click on the "60" under "Submitted" for Tom in the screenshot below...

You will be brought back to the Project Editor with a filtered view of Tom's responses that are status "Pending":

Select Clear to reset your Project Editor view of any filters and continue working on your project.
