How to Use the Gap Analysis Dashboard

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Access Gap Analysis Report

  1. Navigate to Insights from the main menu.

  2. Select the Gap Analysis tab.

  3. The Gap Analysis dashboard loads with your historical data.


Step 2: Filter Analysis

  1. Select your preferred Time Period and Users & Teams dropdowns, plus Filters, in the top right to scope the report.


Step 3: Review Overall Gap Analysis Statistics

The top of the report shows 5 headline metrics for the selected time period:

Percentage of compliant responses out of the applicable responses (responses that specify compliance category).

Number of compliant responses.

Partially Compliant

Number of partially compliant responses

Non-Compliant

Number of non-compliant responses

Requirements Analyzed

Step 4: Examine Gap Analysis Breakdown & Trend

  1. Review compliance percentages across the selected time period.

  2. Analyze the trend in compliance over time.


Step 5: Examine Project-Level Analysis

  1. Navigate to the project-level view in the dashboard.

  2. Review compliance gaps across entire projects.

  3. Identify patterns in your most recent won vs. lost projects.

  4. Note recurring themes across multiple projects.


Step 6: Examine Requirement-Level Analysis

  1. Scroll down to the requirement-level view.

  2. Review compliance gaps for specific requirements.

  3. Identify which requirement types have highest failure rates.

  4. Note opportunities for improvement at granular level.

  5. Click on Edit Compliance to filter, export, or edit compliance per requirements.


Step 7: Export Gap Analysis Data

  1. Click the Download button in the top right corner.

  2. Select your desired export format.

  3. Download the report for sharing with stakeholders.
