Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
Active AutoRFP account with login credentials
Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser (preferred but not required)
Browser updated to latest version
Content uploaded to your AutoRFP library

Step-by-Step Instructions
Install the Browser Extension
1. Open your browser and go to the Chrome Web Store.
2. Search for "AutoRFP.ai" and click Add to Chrome/Edge. Click Add Extension to confirm.
3. Click the Extensions icon (puzzle piece π§©) in your toolbar and select the Pin icon next to AutoRFP to add it to your toolbar.
4. Click the AutoRFP.ai icon to open the extension and Log in with your AutoRFP credentials.
5. Refresh the page (press F5) to activate the extension.
Working with Projects
Open the AutoRFP Extension
Navigate to the Projects tab.
Choose an existing project from the list or create a new project.
If you recently created a new project, click Refresh in the search bar to update the list.
2. Open the Project
Click on the project you want to work with.
Once the project is selected, youβll see the existing requirements and responses.
3. Add a New Requirement
Highlight any text on a website that you want to add as a requirement. Then do one of the following:
Press Ctrl + E, or
Right-click the highlighted text and select the option to add it to the project.
Confirm the Requirement is Added. The new requirement will automatically appear in the selected live project.
4. Monitor Auto-Generated Responses
Responses will begin generating under the Project Editor section within AutoRFP.
Searching your Library Sources using the AutoRFP extension
Navigate to the Search tab in the AutoRFP Extension.
Enter a Search Term.
Type your search query into the search bar and press Enter or click the magnifying glass icon to execute the search.
Quick Search with Highlighted Text
Highlight any text on a webpage.
With the Search tab open, press Ctrl + E to automatically run a search using the selected text.
View and Copy Search Results
Search results will appear below the search bar.
To copy a result, simply:
Click on the response, or
Click the clipboard icon next to it β the text will be copied to your clipboard instantly.
Working with Ad-Hoc Questions
Type your question in the Question Input field.
Press Enter or click the question mark icon.
Keyboard Shortcut:
Highlight any text on the page.
Press Ctrl + E (with extension open) to automatically ask a question about the highlighted text.
Right-Click Method:
Highlight any text on a webpage.
Right-click on the highlighted text.
Choose from the menu:
Get an instant answer
Search for that question
Add it to your Active Project

Installation & Setup:
Pin the extension to your toolbar immediately after installation. This prevents having to search for it in the extensions menu
Refresh the page after installation to ensure the extension activates properly
Keep the extension logged in for seamless workflow throughout the day
Working with Projects:
Monitor the Project Editor section in AutoRFP to track auto-generated responses as they complete
Leverage Search tab to quickly access your content library without leaving the webpage

Forgetting to refresh the page after installation. The extension won't activate until refresh
Attempting to add requirements without selecting a project first -requirement won't be captured
Highlighting too much text at once. Keep selections focused to single questions or requirements for best results
