Install Guide
To install the AutoRFP.ai Browser Extension, you will need to do so in a supported browser. That is Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. No matter the browser, go to the Chrome Extension Store here and press install.
Once installed, select the jigsaw piece icon on the top right of your browser and press the pin button to add AutoRFP.ai to your top bar.
You can then access the user interface by clicking on the icon, start by logging in for the first time.
Then refresh the page to activate the extension.
Asking Ad-Hoc Questions
To ask a question, simply type the question in the Question Input and press enter or click the question mark.
You can also highlight any text and press Ctrl + E to automatically ask a question while the extension is open.
Alternatively, you can right-click at any time on the highlighted text to get an instant answer. You can also search for that question or add it to your Active Project.
The UI will also display cards for the content that was used to answer:
Searching Sources
To search sources, type in the search bar, press enter, or click the magnifying glass. By clicking on the categorisation boxes above the search bar, you can select your categories like countries, products, markets or whatever other categorisation you have set up.
If you press Ctrl + E while you have text selected and you have the search tab open it will execute a search with the highlighted text.
Search results will then be shown, and you can one-click copy to your clip board by clicking the response or the clipboard icon.
Working with Projects
Go to the Projects Tab to create or select an existing project. If you have recently created a project, you may need to press the refresh icon to update the list.
First, select the Project you want to add requirements to or copy responses from.
After selecting a project, you can see any of the current requirements and responses.
Highlight any text on any site and press Ctrl + E to add it to the active project.
Alternatively, you can add by right-clicking the highlighted response and adding it to the Active Project.
As soon as the response is added, it will be reflected in that Active Project and the response will be generated.
If you refresh the Project or come back to it later, you can see the responses and simply click the response text to copy it to your clipboard.
