How to Integrate with Microsoft Copilot

Add the AutoRFP MCP tool to your Copilot agent to allow your agent to answer specific questions related to your content, deadlines, and projects.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Generate Your Agent

  1. Open Copilot Studio

  2. Navigate to Agents

  3. Enter a description for what you want your agent to do

  4. Hit Enter

After completing this step, a page about your Copilot agent should pop up and you can optionally change the model you want for the Copilot agent and alter other configurations.


Step 2: Adding the AutoRFP MCP Tool

  1. Select Tools

  2. Click Add Tool

  3. On the new pop up screen, select MCP or Model Context Protocol

  4. Enter the Model Context Protocol (MCP) details:

    1. Server Name: AutoRFP

    2. Server Description: <Enter a description of your choosing>

    3. Authentication: OAuth 2.0

    4. Type: Dynamic discovery

  5. Click Create

  6. Click on the Connections drop down

  7. Click on the option to Create a new connection

  8. Click Create

  9. Click Allow Access

  10. Click Add and Configure


Step 3: Start Using It

  1. Navigate to Test (the pin icon in the top right)

  2. In the chat on the right, enter a request to test your new agent

How can I add the tool to an agent that I have created previously?

  1. In Microsoft Copilot, navigate to Agent

  2. In the My Agents table:

  3. Click on the name of the agent that you have created previously

  4. Then follow Step 2 and onwards

What should I do if my agent replies with, โ€œLetโ€™s get you connected firstโ€ฆโ€ during testing?

  1. Click the click Open connection manager

  2. Under the Status column, click Manage

  3. Create the connection and click Submit
