Use it to quickly respond to client inquiries, onboard new employees, or access institutional knowledge instantly. Available on the dashboard, via Slack, and Microsoft Teams integrations.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Method 1: Ask from Dashboard
Step 1: Access the Ask Question Feature
Log in to your AutoRFP Dashboard.
Locate the Ask Question input field (at the top of the main dashboard).
The question field is ready for your input.
Step 2: Enter Your Question
Type your question in the input field.
Ask anything relevant to your organization's knowledge:
Product features or specifications
Company policies or procedures
Technical capabilities
Compliance information
Service offerings
Implementation processes
Press Enter or click the Ask button.
Step 3: Review Generated Answer
AutoRFP searches your content library and generates an answer.
Review the answer for accuracy and completeness.
Step 4: Copy Answer to Clipboard
Click the Copy button next to the response.
The answer is copied to your clipboard.
Paste into client emails, documents, or other communications using Ctrl+V (Windows) or Cmd+V (Mac).
Step 5: Edit Answer in Response Editor (Optional)
Click the pencil icon next to the generated answer.
The Response Editor opens with advanced editing tools.
View which content from your library the answer references (displayed on the right side).
Use editing tools to refine the answer:
Apply writing actions (Shorten, Improve, Simplify)
Add custom instructions
Incorporate additional content snippets
Adjust tone or length
Copy the refined answer when satisfied.
ππ½ What if I want to restrict certain parts of my library to my team?
You can control which teams have access to specific content folders to ensure sensitive or department-specific information is only available to authorized users.
How to Set Content Permissions:
Navigate to Content Management from the main dashboard.
Locate the folder you want to restrict.
Click on the folder settings.
Select Permissions to restrict team access.
Save your permission settings.
What This Controls:
Content visibility in the content library
Which content the Ask Question feature can access for specific users
Content available for response generation based on user's team membership
Method 2: Ask via Slack Integration
Step 1: Use Slash Command
In any Slack channel, type
/ask-autorfpfollowed by your question.Press Enter.
AutoRFP responds with an answer in the channel.
Step 2: Direct Message the Bot
Find the AutoRFP bot in your Slack workspace.
Send a direct message with your question, type @autorfp followed by your question.
Receive an instant answer privately.

Step 1: Access AutoRFP Bot
Open Microsoft Teams.
Locate the AutoRFP app.
Send a message with your question.
